National Poetry Month – Day 14: April

I love to write haiku, but after two weeks of counting seventeen syllables, I think my brain is getting tired. But I shall persevere! 🙂

And so, my Day 14 haiku gives a hint of my struggle to remain creative, but also my determination!

I invite you to struggle with me — share a haiku about April, perseverance, springtime — whatever you’d like! You might just win a copy of my book, Life: Haiku by Haiku!

A colorful calendar for April 2026, celebrating National Poetry Month, featuring floral and nature illustrations. The date '14' is circled, and there's a message urging to keep counting syllables for sixteen more days.
