Nice haiku. We don’t see many postcards since moving into the electronic age. Too bad. I always enjoyed the beautiful photos and the caption on the back.

I was thinking the same thing as I wrote this haiku, Russell. Every time we go somewhere, I buy postcards with the best of intentions, because I think it’s a lost “art,” too. But, I usually fail to get any sent. It’s so easy to send a text with a photo, but there’s something lost in that. Same with emails vs. handwritten letters.

The e-card just doesn’t feel the same. I love postcards.
